Summary

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality, safe and compassionate care to patients on a busy 22 bedded Trauma and Orthopaedic ward.

The ward looks after emergency and elective patients. Patients who are pre and post operative, or under conservative management.

The Registered Nurse will be working as part of the multidisciplinary team, the post holder will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, ensuring it is delivered in line with Trust policies, professional standards and best practice.

The role involves supporting and supervising Healthcare Support Workers and students, maintaining accurate clinical records, and contributing to a positive and effective ward environment.

The post holder will also participate in quality improvement, audit and service development activities to enhance patient outcomes and experience.

You will have access to ongoing training, education and career progression pathways and a comprehensive preceptorship programme for newly qualified nurses.
