Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum + additional bonus structure

What We're Looking For
• Previous experience as a Registered Manager or extensive experience as a Deputy Manager within children's residential care
• Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, Children's Homes Regulations and safeguarding
• Experience supporting children with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD)
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to recruit, develop and motivate a staff team
• Confident managing compliance, quality assurance and safeguarding
• Excellent communication, organisation and decision-making skills
• Child-centred and therapeutic approach to care
• Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or willingness to work towards it
• Commitment to achieving positive outcomes for children and young people
Key Roles & Responsibilities
• Lead the registration, opening and day-to-day management of the brand-new 2-bed EBD children's home
• Ensure the home meets all Ofsted, regulatory and safeguarding requirements
• Recruit, induct, supervise and develop a high-performing staff team
• Create a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment for children with EBD
• Develop and maintain high-quality care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding processes
• Manage staffing, rotas, budgets and the overall operation of the home
• Build positive relationships with children, families, social workers and other professionals
• Monitor quality of care and maintain strong regulatory compliance
• Prepare the home for Ofsted inspections and ensure continuous improvement
• Promote positive outcomes, independence and emotional wellbeing for children
• Work closely with senior leadership and contribute to the wider development of the service
• Develop towards the potential opportunity to become a dual Registered Manager as the organisation grows
