Summary

Are you experienced in catering and looking for a permanent role with sociable daytime hours?

We’re recruiting for a Cooking Assistant to join a busy workplace catering team in Loughborough. This is a hands on position where you’ll support with food preparation, cooking, service and maintaining high standards across the kitchen.

What will you be doing?

> Preparing, cooking and presenting food to a high standard

> Following daily menus, recipes and portion control guidelines

> Preparing breakfasts, lunches, snacks, salads and hot dishes

> Supporting food service during busy periods

> Monitoring food quality, freshness and presentation

> Following food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures

> Keeping kitchen and food preparation areas clean and organised

> Working closely with the wider catering team to ensure a smooth service
