Are you an enthusiastic SEN LSA who is passionate about supporting students with additional needs?Do you have experience providing 1:1, small group or classroom-based support?Are you flexible, reliable and able to communicate effectively with students, parents and staff?TeacherActive is proud to be working with a supportive secondary academy in South Essex that is committed to providing outstanding opportunities for its students. The academy promotes a collaborative and welcoming culture, with a strong focus on high-quality teaching, learning and ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive.The academy is looking to appoint an SEN LSA on a permanent, full-time basis, working 37.5 hours per week during term time plus one week. The successful SEN LSA will provide classroom, 1:1 and small group support to students with additional needs, disabilities or specific medical needs, including administering medication following appropriate training.The successful SEN LSA will have:
• GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths
• Experience supporting students with special educational needs or disabilities is desirable
• A willingness to administer individual students' medication following appropriate training
• Strong communication skills when working with students, parents, staff and other professionals
• A positive and professional approach
• A flexible, reliable and enthusiastic attitude
