Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Democratic Services Officer (PO1) to join our Admin & Clerical team. You will work closely with senior officers and elected members, facilitating clear and timely communication, thereby supporting transparency and accountability within the council. Responsibilities
Coordinate and support the preparation and distribution of agendas, reports, and minutes for council and committee meetings.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of decisions, policies, and procedures in accordance with legal and organizational standards.
Provide administrative assistance to elected members and council officers on democratic governance matters.
Manage public inquiries related to meetings and democratic processes, ensuring clear and timely communication.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including the publication of notices and documents as required by local government legislation.
Facilitate the smooth running of meetings by coordinating logistics and providing procedural advice as necessary.
Support the organisation of elections, public consultations, and other democratic engagement activities.

End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £23.23
