Elevate Your Earnings While Making a Genuine Difference

Hours available to suit - part time or full time - qualified appointments available to suit you and how much you want to earn!

We're recruiting a Self-Employed Sales Consultant to cover the central belt of Scotland, genuine split between Glasgow and Edinburgh, representing one of the UK's leading providers of mobility solutions.

Working in partnership with a major national organisation, you'll be provided with a steady flow of warm, pre-qualified appointments generated through inbound customer enquiries. With current conversion rates averaging around 50%, you'll be meeting customers who are already actively considering a solution.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a consultative sales professional looking to maximise their earning potential while helping people maintain their independence at home.

What's on Offer

  • Realistic earnings of £50,000+ per annum
  • You decide how many days per week you'd like to work
  • Uncapped commission structure
  • Additional monthly incentives for on-site closes
  • Warm, pre-qualified appointments provided
  • No cold calling or prospecting
  • Leads generated from inbound customer enquiries
  • Approximately 50% conversion rates
  • Fortnightly payments via BACS
  • Full product training and ongoing support
  • No customer follow-up required after your visit
  • Opportunity to sell products that genuinely improve customers' quality of life

The Role

You'll be meeting customers in their homes to assess their requirements and recommend the most suitable mobility solutions. This will be focused on Stairlifts initially, but as you show how well you’ve grasped those products, other product ranges can be introduced to broaden your opportunities to sell.

Products include:

  • Stairlifts
  • Through-floor lifts
  • Bathing solutions
  • Other mobility and accessibility equipment

Key responsibilities include:

  • Attending pre-qualified appointments within customers' homes
  • Using a consultative sales approach to understand customer needs
  • Recommending tailored mobility solutions
  • Conducting detailed property surveys and taking accurate measurements
  • Completing survey reports and sales documentation to a high standard
  • Preparing quotations and processing orders
  • Delivering a professional and empathetic customer experience

A dedicated in-house team handles all post-appointment follow-up, allowing you to focus on consultations and sales.

About You

We're interested in speaking to candidates who possess:

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Previous direct sales, field sales or in-home sales experience
  • A consultative and customer-focused approach
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • A practical or technical mindset
  • Confidence using a tape measure accurately and completing survey forms
  • Basic technology skills and confidence using tablet-based systems
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  • The ability to pass a DBS check
  • The right to work in the UK

Direct sales experience is preferred, but we are open to considering candidates with transferable skills and a proven ability to build trust with customers.

About the Business

As one of the UK's leading mobility specialists, the business provides innovative solutions that help people maintain their independence, safety and confidence within their own homes.

With a strong reputation, market-leading products and a consistent flow of qualified enquiries, you'll have everything you need to build a successful and rewarding self-employed career.

Interested?

Submit your details today and I'll personally give you a call to discuss the opportunity in more detail, talk through the earning potential, answer any questions and help you decide whether it's the right fit for you.
