St. Mary’s C E Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate, and visionary Reception Teacher to join our caring educational family. Key Responsibilities & Expectations:

  • Pedagogical & EYFS Excellence: Model innovative, high-impact Early Years practice. Maintain a rich, stimulating environment that sparks curiosity, engages every child, and ensures exceptional foundations in Early Reading and Phonics.
  • Living Our Christian Ethos: Serve as an inspiring role model by embedding core Christian valuessuch as kindness, forgiveness, humility, and compassioninto daily interactions, classroom culture, and whole-school life.
  • Child-Centred Progression: Recognise and celebrate the unique, God-given potential of every child, tailoring support to elevate achievement and nurture individual strengths.
  • Community & Collaboration: Build trust-based, supportive relationships with parents and families. Serve as a strong team player who communicates openly, adapts flexibly to school needs, and actively contributes to extra-curricular and community events.
