Summary

Level 3 Nursery Room Leader

Salary: Up to £34,400

40 hours per week

 

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a room where children are supported to feel safe, confident, and engaged in their learning every day. This is a hands-on leadership role within a warm and well-organised setting, where you will guide your team, shape a high-quality learning environment, and maintain consistently strong standards of care and education.

 

You will bring a solid understanding of child development and the EYFS, along with the confidence to lead by example, support colleagues effectively, and create a calm, stimulating space that meets the needs of every child. This role is perfect for an qualified early years professional who takes pride in their practice, values quality, and is committed to inclusive, child-centred early years care.

 

Qualifications

  • Level 3 or above in Early Years

  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills

  • Strong understanding of child development and early education principles

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate and educate the children

  • Supervise and support the nursery room staff in their daily tasks, providing guidance and mentorship

  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all children, taking into account their individual needs and abilities

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on their child's progress

  • Collaborate with other nursery staff and management to ensure the overall success of the nursery
