Teaching Assistant - working within either our Margaret Coats Centre (MCC) or mainstream classroomsTerm time only plus 1 additional INSET dayPermanent26 hours per week TA - Grade 3 SCP 5 - FTE £26,427Actual Salary - £15,654.32Closing date: 27th September 2026Interview date: To be confirmedWe are seeking to appoint a dedicated, caring and enthusiastic professional to join our experienced and supportive team starting as soon as possible. You will need to be:a patient, resilient and motivated individualexperienced in working with children who are significantly below age related expectations and display emotional difficultiesan excellent communicator to establish positive home/school relationshipspassionate about promoting learning and achievement for allproficient in literacy and numeracyable to work effectively as part of a team and share our VisionMain responsibilities will include. work with the children under the direction of the class teacher and SENDCosupport the pupil with their additional needs whilst implementing planned learning activities/programmes as agreed with the class teachershow initiative and flexibilitybuild effective relationships with children, parents and colleaguesmanage the pupils in 1:1 and group scenarios in a positive and calm way so they achieve the highest standards in their learningTo Confidently navigate IT suites and cloud-based software.
