Summary

We're looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Advisor to join Aurora's central Quality team and play a key role in supporting our schools, colleges and care services to achieve and maintain the highest standards of quality, compliance and regulatory excellence.Working closely with operational leaders and central teams, you'll help embed Aurora's Quality Assurance framework through audits, action plans, training and continuous improvement initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educational leader who is passionate about quality improvement and ensuring services remain inspection-ready and fully compliant.What you'll be doingAs a Quality Assurance Advisor, you'll:Carry out thorough, fair and evidence-based audits across Aurora schools, colleges, residential homes and domiciliary care services.Support services to embed robust quality assurance, governance and compliance frameworks.Work collaboratively with operational teams and central functions to develop and implement action plans for improvement.Support services to maintain inspection readiness through training, evidence reviews and quality monitoring.Ensure sites have appropriate policies, procedures and compliance reporting processes in place.Gather stakeholder feedback and prepare accurate reports for quality assurance and operational meetings.Assess GDPR management and undertake investigations where required.Deliver training and share best practice to support continuous quality improvement across the organisation.What we're looking forYou'll have:Leadership experience within an education setting, such as Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher, Assistant Headteacher or SENCO with leadership responsibilities.Knowledge of SEND and the education and care needs of children and young people.Detailed knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks, including Independent School Standards, Ofsted, Care Standards and CQC requirements.Knowledge of quality assurance, governance and risk management systems.An understanding of legislation relating to the management of sensitive and confidential data.Excellent relationship management, communication and influencing skills.The ability to support, challenge and drive improvement at all levels.A highly organised and process-driven approach with strong attention to detail.Experience working across multiple sites or services would be advantageous.
