Summary
Duties of the post-SurgeryThe trainee will be responsible for the pre-operative assessment, intra-operative management and post-operative care of all patients with gynaecological cancer. The trainee will attend at least 1 gynaecological oncology lists each week. Concomitant operating lists in colorectal surgery, urological surgery and vascular surgery exist and the post holder will be encouraged to avail himself/herself of this breadth of expertise. ClinicsThe trainee will attend weekly gynaecological oncology clinics and Rapid Access clinics.In addition, the trainee may conduct a colposcopy clinic. All clinics will be performed with consultant supervision.
