Summary
Job Description
Please note as this post is term time, your salary will be pro rata to weeks worked.
If you start out with the normal school session, an adjustment will be made to reduce your first pay. This is because you are not entitled to be paid for all holidays. Once this adjustment has been completed, you will receive a 12
th of your annual salary thereafter.
You will receive an email from our payroll department before your first pay is due to advise of the amount that will be deducted.
If you start on the first day of term, this will not apply to you.
The postholder will:
Be actively involved in the delivery of an effective Early Learning and Childcare(ELC) Service which meets the needs of children and their families in line with policy and procedures.
Assist in the management, planning and implementation of a quality ELC Service.
Work on their own initiative and as a team member who directly contributes to and supports colleagues in the development of a flexible early education and childcare service.

You will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Clackmannanshire Council. Further guidance will follow in your conditional offer of employment on how to apply.
