Regional Home Manager (RGN/RMN)
40 Hours per Week | Up to £80,000 per year + Car Allowance | North Scotland
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Regional Home Manager to oversee a portfolio of five nursing homes and two residential homes across North Scotland. Working closely with Home Managers and senior leadership, you'll provide strategic direction, operational support, and clinical oversight, ensuring every service delivers safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
This role is ideal for an accomplished nursing home leader who enjoys supporting and developing managers, driving quality improvements, and maintaining excellent regulatory standards across multiple services. What We're Looking For
Active
NMC registration as an
RGN or RMN –
essential.
Proven experience as a
Registered Home Manager or
Regional Manager within a nursing home environment.
Strong leadership experience across multiple services, with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop management teams.
Excellent understanding of clinical governance, CQC/Care Inspectorate standards, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance.
Demonstrable experience driving quality improvement and supporting services to achieve positive inspection outcomes.
Strong commercial awareness with experience managing operational performance, budgets, and occupancy.
Excellent communication, organisational, and relationship-building skills.

Your Role
Provide operational, clinical, and strategic leadership across five nursing homes and two residential homes.
Coach, mentor, and support Home Managers to achieve exceptional standards of care and performance.
Drive continuous quality improvement, ensuring all homes consistently meet or exceed regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular audits, quality visits, and compliance reviews, implementing action plans where required.
Support homes through inspections and contribute to achieving positive regulatory outcomes.
Monitor key performance indicators including quality, occupancy, staffing, budgets, and resident satisfaction.
Work collaboratively with senior leadership to implement business objectives and service improvements.
Develop leadership capability across the region through coaching, mentoring, and structured development.
Build strong relationships with residents, families, commissioners, regulators, and healthcare professionals.
Champion a culture of compassion, accountability, and continuous improvement across every service.
