Join our specialist Community Eating Disorders Service and play a key role in supporting young people and their families as they transition from CAMHS to Adult Eating Disorder Services. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to provide expert assessment, therapeutic intervention, care coordination and advocacy, working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies. We are looking for an experienced and compassionate mental health professional with a passion for eating disorders, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care while helping shape and develop innovative services across Rotherham, Doncaster and North Lincolnshire.
• Lead and coordinate the transition of young people with eating disorders from CAMHS to Adult Eating Disorder Services, ensuring seamless, person-centred care planning.
• Undertake specialist mental health, risk and eating disorder assessments anddevelopcomprehensivecareandtransitionplans.
• Deliverevidence-basedtherapeuticinterventions,includingindividual,familyandgroupwork,foryoungpeoplewitheatingdisordersandtheirfamilies.
• Actasakeyresourceandadvocateforyoungpeople,familiesandprofessionals,providingadvice,guidanceandemotionalsupportthroughoutthetransitionprocess.
• WorkcollaborativelywithCAMHS,AdultServicesandpartneragenciestoensureeffectivecommunication,jointworkingandcoordinatedcare.
• Participateinmultidisciplinarymeetings,transitionreviews,inpatientreviewsandsafeguardingprocessesasrequired.
• Provideclinicalsupervision,trainingandsupporttocolleagues,studentsandotherprofessionals.
• Contributetoservicedevelopment,qualityimprovement,auditandresearchactivitiestoenhanceoutcomesforyoungpeopleandfamilies.
• Promoteinnovative,evidence-basedpracticeandsupportthecontinualdevelopmentofeatingdisorderservicesacrossRotherham,DoncasterandNorthLincolnshire.
• Manageacomplexcaseloadautonomouslywhilstmaintaininghighstandardsofclinicalgovernance,safeguardingandriskmanagement
