Summary
Due to substantial growth in this market, we are looking to recruit 2 experienced & ambitious National Sales Executives to join a forward-thinking, market-leading UK supplier and distributor based in Coventry. This is an excellent next step for a field salesperson with relevant industry experience that is ready to take responsibility for a larger territory, develop broader customer relationships and build a long-term career.
Working to strengthen our client’s presence across the UK Air Conditioning and Refrigeration market, this is a full-time, permanent, field based position, offering a salary of £45k - £50k doe plus bonus, company car and benefits. This role will involve extensive regional travel including overnight stays where necessary. One role will cover North UK and the other South UK.
The role will build strong relationships at branch level, increase awareness and understanding of the ACR product range, and turn customer insight into sustainable sales growth across the assigned territory.
The successful candidate will be credible with branch teams and equally capable of supporting more senior customer conversations when required.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Build trusted, long-term relationships with branch managers, branch teams, internal sales colleagues and relevant customer contacts
• Maintain a structured territory and call plan, with a minimum of three days each week spent externally with customers
• Plan and deliver branch breakfast mornings, product awareness sessions, trade events and other practical customer engagement activities
• Identify opportunities to improve product availability, visibility, range penetration and sales, while providing useful market intelligence and customer insight to the wider commercial team
• Understand the commercial and operational needs of individual branches, including local demand, customer profiles, stock requirements and opportunities for growth
• Support senior commercial colleagues in larger account meetings, customer presentations or negotiations when required
