Your Role Service Line: Learning Disabilities Summary of the role Job Title: Occupational Therapist Location: Cygnet Wallace Salary Range: £34,991 per annum Hours: 40 hours per week Contract: FTC with a set end date of 14/12/2026 Start Date: ASAP If mutually agreed the end date can be brought forward Cygnet Wallace (Cygnet Wallace Hospital, DD3 9AG) Situated in a residential area of Dundee, Cygnet Wallace Hospital is an 18 bed specialist high dependency complex care service providing assessment and treatment for individuals with learning disabilities, with or without autistic spectrum disorder, as well as complex needs and behaviours. We are proud to provide a specialist service focused on recovery, independence and positive outcomes for the individuals in our care. Our experienced multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to create personalised care pathways that support each person to reach their full potential. Our ever-evolving service offers a safe, th erapeutic and structured environment, supported by experienced clinical leadership and a compassionate team. Cygnet Wallace Hospital is located in the city of Dundee, which has an extensive array of community amenities to access, including leisure centres, social clubs, shops, colleges, and work placement settings. Service users can also enjoy walks and visits to the nearby botanical gardens and Discovery Quay. The post holder will be supervised by the specialist Occupational Therapist on site. Occupational Therapy Directorate Under the leadership of our occupational therapy directors we support over 185 Occupational Therapists and over 300 OT support staff. Working together as a large team we provide support to each other across the group, with the opportunity to be part of specialist interest groups & become involved in service development. Every service line has a clinical lead occupational therapist to lead and develop evidence based practice and agreed occupational therapy pathway.
