Summary

Dorset HealthCare are looking for a Domestic Assistant to join the friendly Facilities team, based atCanford Heath Community Clinic.

The role of the Domestic Assistant includes general cleaning duties of all areas within the site. You will be expected to clean to a high standard. We are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join our supportive team. Training is provided as part of your role as well as ongoing support within a team environment. All uniform is supplied.

Employment in this post requires a Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

This role is a part time role of 15 hours per week.

Monday to Friday, 3 hours per day.

5pm-8pm

Canford Heath Community Clinic, Neighbourhood Centre, Culliford Crescent, Poole BH17 9DW

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. MONITORING

· Maintaining cleaning standards using the recognised quality controlprocedures.

· Receiving and actioning feedback from cleaning audits on a monthlybasis if required.

2. STORES

· To maintain cleaning product stock levels andliaise with theCommunity Clinic/Outside Unit Supervisorif more is required.

· Restock the cleaning cupboards in the Community Clinic if required.

3. CLEANINGDUTIES

· Ensuring that the cleaning is maintained to the requiredstandards.

· Ensuring that the correct work methods areobserved.

· Cleaning of all areas including public waiting areas and reception, offices, break areas, clinic rooms, kitchens and toilets.

· Damp dusting and polishing of all furniture.

· Dusting walls and cleaning paintwork

· Washing tiles andpaintwork

· Cleaning lavatories and basins

· Cleaningfloors, including hard and soft floor.

· Disposal of general waste from office areas.

· Cleaning of surfaces and fittings in offices.
