Summary
The Best Connection Reading is currently seeking a
Class 2 Dustcart Driver to work for a well-established company in the Waste Management industry. Based in Bracknell.
This role is a
temporary to permanent role, meaning after 12 weeks you will be offered a permanent contract.
The role:
- Driving a Class 2 Dustcart lorry safely and effectivley
- Completing residential and commercial refuse collections.
- Working closely with Loaders to complete collections.
- Ensuring the vehicle is safe to operate by conducting daily vehicle checks.
- To report any incidents or accidents.
- Driving in a safe manner.
- To complete any paperwork required correctly.
- To represent the company to customers, delivering a professional and friendly service.
Hours and pay:
- Monday to Friday, 05:45 - 15:45 (45 hours per week)
- £17.00 per hour (PAYE), £25.50 per hour after 9 hours a day.
Requirements:
- Hold a valid Class 2 Licence (category C).
- Hold a valid CPC and Tacho card.
- Customer service.
- Good communication and a can-do attitude!
- Reliable and flexible for overtime.
- Previous experience working in the waste industry
(preferred but not required).
