Join Elysium Healthcare as a Regional Lead Psychologist (Wales, South West and South Region) to provide clinical leadership, professional supervision, and strategic oversight of psychological services across a designated region. In this influential role, you will support and develop psychological teams to ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and high-quality services that align with professional standards, organisational policies, and evidence-based practice. Working closely with local leadership teams and psychology colleagues, you will drive excellence in psychological care while fostering innovation, continuous improvement, and positive outcomes for service users. As Regional Lead Psychologist, you will lead the coordination and delivery of psychological services across the region, providing expert guidance, consultation, and supervision to psychological staff. You will play a key role in ensuring services remain compliant with clinical governance requirements and are delivered in line with national guidance and best practice. You will contribute to the ongoing development of services by supporting the implementation of new models of care, identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery, and promoting collaborative approaches that maximise resources and improve access for vulnerable groups. Using clinical outcome measures, audits, and service user feedback, you will evaluate service effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and help shape future developments across the region. Key responsibilities: Deliver and oversee specialist psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for individuals with complex mental health needs in the region where clinically required Apply specialist knowledge and skills in evidence based psychological therapies to provide high standards of care in a supervisory capacity Provide clinical and professional supervision to psychological staff within the region Offer expert clinical leadership and consultation to Multi-Disciplinary Teams (MDT) across services in the region where required. Attend and contribute to regional leadership and governance meetings Support with job planning of psychological services across the region including professional recruitment, disciplinary and grievance processes. Provide specialist clinical supervision and consultation, as well as maintain professional governance and assurance in line with regional requirements. Lead research, audit, policy and service development initiatives across the region. Ensure services are delivered in line with NICE guidelines, HCPC standards and organisational policies. To be successful in this role, you'll need: HCPC registration as a qualified chartered Clinical/Counselling Psychologist. Professional doctorate qualification in Clinical/Counselling Psychology as accredited by the British Psychological Society Extensive Leadership experience managing clinicians within a Mental Health setting. Experience in using psychological models and theories to address a range of clinical and risk issues. Good knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support and Trauma Informed Care.
