Summary

As part of the Royal Free London NHS Trust, we are seeking to appoint a permanent Consultant in Acute Medicine.

This position will be based at Barnet General Hospital. If appointed you will join a committed team of consultants, in our well-developed and respected service. We also pride ourselves on our supportive and forward-thinking culture

This is a varied and dynamic consultant post that will see you:

· Deliver high-quality care across the Enhanced Care Unit (ECU), Acute Medical Ward, and AAU hub

· Participate in the acute medical take, on a 1:8 weekend and 1:30 weekday rota

· Lead and supervise junior medical staff, and support the department’s educational and teaching activities

· Contribute to and develop a specialist interest

· Engage with audit, quality improvement, clinical governance and research activity
