You will work closely with senior clinical and operational leaders, lead a team of finance professionals and have the opportunity to influence key decisions affecting large and complex services. What you will bring to the role As Director of Finance (Operational), you will: Lead the Trust’s Financial Planning and Reporting team and provide leadership to senior finance colleagues. Shape and maintain the Trust’s long-term financial model, annual financial plan and budget-setting process. Lead high-quality monthly and annual financial reporting, including information presented to the Board, Trust committees, executive leaders and external organisations. Provide authoritative, impartial advice on budgets, business cases, financial performance, organisational risk and major service changes. Strengthen financial benchmarking, business intelligence and insight into productivity and efficiency opportunities. Interpret national policy, guidance and legislation, assessing the implications for the Trust and supporting effective implementation. Work closely with clinical, operational, workforce and finance leaders across the Trust and with partners across West Yorkshire. Deputise for the Deputy Chief Finance Officer where appropriate.
