Summary
A warm and professional family of five in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, is looking for an experienced, reliable housekeeper to help maintain the day-to-day running of their home. The family has three young children and a friendly dog.
The working hours will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday for 12 hours a week. The actual hours each day are flexible and can be mutually agreed, but something like 10.00-14.00 would be ideal.
Your duties will include:
• Cleaning all rooms to a high standard
• Keeping the house tidy and well organised, including a daily reset of the kitchen, bedrooms, and living areas
• Keeping the children’s play areas organised and tidy
• Managing the family’s laundry, including washing, ironing, and bed linen
• Changing beds on a regular basis
• Unpacking and putting away grocery deliveries and household shopping
• Running occasional household errands, such as visiting the post office or dry cleaners
• Feeding and walking the family dog occasionally
The family is hoping to welcome someone who is proactive, trustworthy, kind, and dependable. They would love to find a housekeeper who is naturally warm, enjoys being around children, and will become a positive and supportive presence within their home.

Details of any training needed for this job: Enhanced DBS (update) and 12 hour Paediatric First Aid

Pay: £12,480 gross per annum / mutually agreed overtime to be paid at £20 gross/hour
