Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Newham Directorate for a Full-time band 4 ward administrator 37.5 hours per week.This is a 6-month secondment and we are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person who is looking for a new role in a very busy and challenging environment on a Mental Health Acute ward. As an administrator you will be based on a busy ward offering support to the Multi-Disciplinary Team and are often the first point of contact.

· Inpatient experience

· Excellent communication & interpersonal skills within a multidisciplinary team

· Reliable, flexible & adaptable

· Ability to use initiative

· Familiar with the reporting service and KPI reports

· Chase any outstanding CQUINS and update accordingly

· Ensure that 72 hour follow-up appointments have been booked

· Excellent IT knowledge and a comprehensive knowledge of office systems including Microsoft Teams and OneDrive.

· Ensure RIO is synchronised & updated

· Paperwork is scanned and uploaded

· Ordering of suppliers on both Oracle and Clares

· Assist/cover other ward admin where required

We are looking for someone that has a flexible approach to work, who preferable has had inpatient and RIO experience in a Mental Health unit, or someone that is adaptable and willing to learn with excellent IT knowledge and a comprehensive knowledge of office systems including Microsoft Teams and One Drive.
