Summary

Recycling Operative

Location: Glasgow, G4

Salary: £14.35 per hour

Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm – 11:00pm

Job Type: Full-time, ongoing

Job Overview

We are currently recruiting Recycling Operatives to join a busy recycling facility in Glasgow.

This is a hands-on role working as part of a team to ensure recyclable materials are sorted, processed and handled safely and efficiently.

Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in warehouse, production, recycling or manual work, although previous experience is not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

. Picking and sorting recyclable materials from a conveyor line

. Keeping the plant, work areas and walkways clean and tidy

. Sweeping and carrying out general cleaning around the plant

. Litter picking and general housekeeping duties

. Assisting with basic yard maintenance and cleaning

. Keeping the yard and surrounding areas free from rubbish and debris

. Following site health and safety procedures

. Working as part of a team to maintain a safe and efficient workplace

Previous warehouse, production or recycling experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
