Summary

SAP Care Services is seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead our domiciliary care service covering Reigate and the surrounding area.

About Us

SAP Care Services Limited is a CQC-registered domiciliary care and supported living provider delivering high-quality, person-centred care across Kent and Surrey. We are looking for an experienced, driven Registered Manager to lead our domiciliary care service and ensure the highest standards of care, compliance and outcomes for the people we support.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you will take full ownership of the day-to-day running of the domiciliary care service in Reigate and the surrounding area. This is a growth-phase branch — currently operating with a smaller client base and staff team — so the role calls for a self-sufficient operator who can mobilise and scale the service, not just maintain an established one. You will operate independently and confidently, taking accountability for the service without relying on others above you, while reporting directly to the Managing Director. You will line manage Care Coordinators, Team Leaders and Care Staff , and work closely with the Care Quality Supervisor to maintain excellent standards of care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively involved in the creation maintenance and update of care plans, risk assessments ensuring that they are , up to date and audit-ready.

• Hold full responsibility for the registration and CQC compliance of the domiciliary care service, acting as the Registered Manager with CQC.

• Line manage and support Care Coordinators, Team Leaders and Care Staff , providing clear direction and leadership.

• Oversee the Care Quality Supervisor and ensure regular check-ins, supervisions and spot checks are carried out across the service.

• Sit in on staff supervisions and carry out spot checks as needed to monitor quality and safe practice.

• Carry out and oversee client reviews, visiting clients in their homes as required — a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.

• Lead on safeguarding, ensuring concerns are identified, escalated and managed appropriately in line with policy and legislation.

• Champion and uphold the organisation's whistleblowing policy, ensuring staff are supported to raise concerns safely.

• Maintain strong working knowledge of CQC standards, inspections and regulatory requirements, and prepare the service accordingly.

• Understand and apply UKVI requirements relevant to the sponsorship and employment of Care Staff .

• Build and maintain effective working relationships with local authorities/councils, hospitals, GPs, Occupational Therapists and other healthcare professionals.

• Oversee rotas, staffing levels and service capacity, ensuring safe, consistent care delivery across all contracts and locations.

• Maintain strong personal knowledge of clients and their care needs, ensuring a person-centred, hands-on approach rather than managing at a distance.

• Lead the mobilisation and growth of the branch, building client numbers, staffing levels and service capacity in line with the service's growth trajectory.
