Summary

Yr Ysgol is a 16-bed nursing home supporting adult males and females with learning disabilities, challenging behaviour’s, Huntington's disease, acquired brain injuries and dementia.. The service provides a safe, structured and person-centred environment where individuals are supported to build independence, develop daily living skills, and achieve their personal goals.

People we support enjoy a range of activities within the service and in the community, including gardening, live music, shopping and swimming helping them to stay engaged, active and connected.

About the Role

As a Care Assistant, you’ll empower adults with learning disabilities, challenging behaviour’s, Huntington's disease, acquired brain injuries and dementia to live life their way.

You’ll:

Support independence and personal goals

Deliver high-quality, person-centred care

Assist with daily life activities, for example cooking, shopping and social outings

Provide personal care and support with health and wellbeing

Follow clear processes and individual care plans to ensure we provide safe and consistent support
