Summary

Residential Children’s Home Deputy Manager – 4 Bed EBD

Salary: Up to £39,000 p.a.

Sleep-In Rate: £50 per sleep

Location: Bradford

Job Type: Permanent

Successful Applicants Will Have:

• Experience in a senior role within a residential children’s home (EBD experience preferred)

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards)

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• A genuine commitment to achieving positive outcomes for young people

• Flexibility to work a 2 on / 4 off rota, including sleep-ins and additional shifts when required

• Ability to work closely alongside the Registered Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the Registered Manager with the day-to-day operation of the home to ensure effective and high-quality service delivery

• Maintaining the highest standards of care in line with Ofsted regulations, safeguarding practices, and company policies

• Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of residential care workers to deliver person-centred care

• Overseeing and reviewing individual care plans to ensure the needs of each child are met

• Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment that promotes positive outcomes for young people

• Managing administrative duties including staff rotas, budgeting, and accurate record-keeping

• Building and maintaining positive relationships with external agencies, professionals, and families to support holistic care

• Encouraging professional development within the team and promoting internal career progression opportunities
