Summary

The work of the Women’s Estate Psychology Service (WEPS) spans core forensic work as well as a broad range of safety-related work within women’s prisons, and as women transition back into the community. The post holder will have the opportunity to engage in a range of safety-related activities to support the delivery of safety work at HMP Styal, New Hall and Low Newton. This will include the collaborative development of strengths-based plans based on psychological formulations which are designed to be a multiagency way of supporting staff to support women in custody more effectively.
