Long Term Futures is recruiting an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Birmingham. You'll work within the school's Early Years provision, supporting children during a key stage of their learning and development.
This is a full-time, long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys creating positive, engaging learning experiences and wants to become a consistent part of an Early Years team.
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the class teacher to support engaging EYFS learning and continuous provision
- Provide tailored support to children individually, in small groups and during whole-class activities
- Promote learning through purposeful play, exploration and child-led experiences
- Help children develop their early communication, language, literacy, numeracy and social skills
- Recognise children's progress and share useful observations with the class teacher
- Prepare activities and resources while helping maintain an inviting, well-organised Early Years environment
What We're Looking For:
- A Level 3 qualification in a childcare-related subject.
- Previous experience supporting children within an EYFS or Reception setting.
- A patient, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young learners.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A genuine passion for early years education and child development.
