IT Teachers Wanted for Supply Work Across North Manchester
Cover People are currently recruiting IT Teachers to support secondary schools and alternative provision settings across North Manchester. We have a range of day-to-day, short-term and longer-term supply opportunities available for teachers looking for flexibility or additional work throughout the academic year.

Role: IT Teacher
Location: Schools across North Manchester
Start Date: Immediate / September 2026
Contract: Day-to-day, short-term and longer-term supply
Hours: Monday to Friday
Pay: £160-£210 per day DOE.
As a supply IT Teacher, you could be working across a variety of secondary schools and specialist settings. Depending on the school and assignment, your responsibilities may include:
• Delivering planned IT and Computing lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Taking over lessons at short notice and following existing school plans and resources.
• Adapting work to suit different abilities and learning needs.
• Maintaining positive behaviour and clear classroom expectations.
• Supporting pupils to remain engaged and make progress.
• Working across mainstream, SEND and Alternative Provision settings where appropriate.
• Providing feedback to school staff following lessons and completing any required classroom tasks.
We're interested in hearing from teachers who:
• Hold QTS, QTLS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching IT, Computing or a related subject at secondary level.
• Are confident stepping into different classrooms and adapting quickly.
• Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Are reliable, flexible and available for supply work.
• Are comfortable working with pupils with a range of abilities and additional needs.
• Access to a wide range of IT teaching opportunities across North Manchester.
• Day-to-day, short-term and longer-term assignments to suit your availability.
