Summary
G4S are currently recruiting for a
Security Officer to join a Government contract in
Croydon! This role is a great opportunity to work in a corporate environment, dealing with members of the public and delivering excellent customer service. The site is an important service point for many customers, so the customer expectations are high and need someone who can meet their standards.

Pay Rate:
£14.80 per hour
Hours Per Week:
48 hours - with potential overtime
Shift Pattern:
- Monday to Friday (07:00-19:00)
- Saturday 0900-17:00
SIA License Required:
Door Supervisor or Security Guarding

Your Time at Work
As a Security Officer you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating within a dynamic team and various client departments to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
- Verifying documents and conducting security screening and searching for customers and contractors entering security-controlled areas.
- Utilize color X-ray images/hand-held scanner to screen belongings effectively.
- Assisting in managing health, safety, and security incidents.
- Engaging in regular training sessions to uphold screening and searching competencies aligned with client premises.

- Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical, criminal record, and counter-terrorism checks.
