Summary

Job Title: Class 2 Driver - Immediate Starts

Location: Crawley

Pay Rate: £25.00 per hour + £3.02 holiday pay = £28.02 per hour total

Shifts: Monday to Friday (06:00 -14:30) - This is a short-term assignment expected to last around 4 weeks, although the exact duration may vary depending on the requirements of the project.

Driver Type: Class 2 - refuse driver

Experience: 6 months class 2 experience - essential

Fifth Wheel Recruitment are looking for Class 2 Drivers in Crawley to work with our client, who provide all types of business with commercial waste disposal and recycling.

Previous experience working in the waste industry would be beneficial.

Hours:

- Monday to Friday working

- Shift times - 06:00 to 14:30

- Early finishes most days

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Driving and operating a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle

- Collecting refuse from different local areas each day

- Working alongside the loaders when required

- Assisting with the manual movement of domestic wheelie bins

- Working safely around pedestrians, traffic, and other road users

All applicants are expected to complete work to a high standard while following site safety procedures.

About you:

You will have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 6 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional Driver, you will be up to date with the WTD regulations.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
