Summary

What's involved with this role:

Triumph Consultants are looking for a Traffic Engineer to join their client's Traffic Team, supporting the design and delivery of traffic and sustainable transport schemes. This is a varied role covering traffic engineering, project delivery and traffic management. Contract is for 6 months in London SE18 6HQ.

Traffic Engineer

Pay Rate: £26.75 per hour PAYE

Hours per week: 35 Monday - Friday

Contract length: 6 months

Location: London SE18 6HQ

Key Requirements

Relevant traffic engineering/highway qualification, or currently working towards one.

Technical knowledge of traffic legislation, traffic engineering, highway design and construction standards.

Good communication and teamwork skills, including working with different teams and stakeholders.

Understanding of health and safety requirements related to traffic and highway works.

Adaptable and proactive approach, with a willingness to learn and a can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and deliver sustainable transport schemes, including road safety, bus priority and cycling projects.

Undertake feasibility, consultation, design and implementation of traffic engineering schemes.

Manage projects funded through the Local Implementation Plan (LIP), TfL programmes and Section 106 agreements.

Work collaboratively with Network Management, Parking, Highways and Transport Planning teams.

Support the wider Traffic Team objectives, maintaining a customer-focused approach to service delivery.
