We are currently recruiting for a Service Manager to join a reputable family-run business based in Ipswich, Suffolk.

Duties:

- Oversee daily operations of the vehicle service department to ensure efficient workflow

- Lead and manage team of technicians and service advisors to deliver high-quality customer service as the Service Manager

- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, addressing concerns promptly

- Drive departmental profitability, ensuring targets are consistently achieved or exceeded

- Develop and implement operational procedures to optimise productivity

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and positive referrals

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Service Manager or Aftersales Manager within the automotive industry

- Strong leadership and team management skills

- Excellent communication and customer service abilities

- Knowledge of motor trade processes, systems, and compliance standards

- Ability to motivate and develop a team to achieve high performance
