About the Role

We are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and committed Welfare Assistant to join our Early Years team on a temporary basis, with the position subject to review.

The successful candidate will work under the direction of the EYFS teaching team to support the welfare, care and wellbeing of our youngest pupils. The role involves assisting with the personal, social and physical needs of children, supporting positive play and learning experiences, and helping to ensure a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment.

The Successful Applicant Will:

• Be patient, caring and committed to supporting young children.

• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Work effectively as part of a team.

• Demonstrate sensitivity, integrity and professionalism in all aspects of the role.

• Be able to build positive relationships with children, staff and parents.

• Support the welfare and care needs of pupils, including personal care where required.
