Role Purpose

Transformation and Performance Improvement Manager

We are inviting applications for the post of Transformation and Performance Improvement Manager.

This is an important internal opportunity to lead and support work that will modernise how Scottish Borders Council operates, improve organisational effectiveness and help deliver the Council’s Transformation Programme.

The post will support strategic projects and transformation programmes on behalf of the Corporate Management Team, while also helping to optimise the Council’s performance and improvement agenda.

The successful candidate will work with services, senior managers, elected members, partners and stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and support the delivery of an effective operating model for the future.

Essential

A degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline, or substantial equivalent professional experience demonstrating expertise in business improvement, organisational development or transformation.

A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post. * If you have a disability which precludes you from holding a drivers licence, Scottish Borders Council will take into account its responsibility to make reasonable adjustments to allow for your disability.
