This is an opportunity for a dependable professional who is confident working independently and completing trunking runs safely and efficiently.Key responsibilities• Complete planned trunking routes and deliveries• Carry out vehicle checks before and after each shift• Ensure loads are secure and transported safely• Complete delivery paperwork and digital records accurately• Follow drivers’ hours, working time and road safety requirements• Communicate professionally with the transport team and delivery points• Report any vehicle, load or delivery issues promptlySkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 1 licence• Relevant driver qualification card and digital tachograph card• Previous trunking experience• Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and transport regulations• Reliable, punctual and safety-focused approach• Ability to work night shifts and manage time effectively• Professional communication skillsWhat’s on offer• Temporary night-shift position• Pay of £19 to £21 per hour• Paid every Wednesday• Visibility to local employersApplicants should be legally entitled to work in the UK and able to meet the requirements of the role.
