It supports work across industrial and other technical sectors and operates a quality management system.The roleAn opportunity is available for a Production Operative to join a manufacturing team on a temporary basis. Working day shifts, you will support the smooth and efficient completion of production activities while maintaining accuracy and quality.Key responsibilities• Carry out routine production and assembly tasks• Follow work instructions, processes and health and safety requirements• Check components and finished work for quality and accuracy• Use basic hand tools and production equipment where required• Keep the work area clean, organised and safe• Work as part of a team to meet daily production requirements• Report issues, defects or shortages to the appropriate supervisorSkills and qualifications• A reliable and responsible approach to work• Good attention to detail and hand-eye coordination• Ability to follow instructions and complete repetitive tasks accurately• Good teamwork and communication skills• A practical attitude and willingness to learn• Previous manufacturing, assembly or warehouse experience would be useful but is not essential• No specific formal qualification is required; relevant training will be provided where neededBenefits• Paid every Wednesday• Opportunity to be visible to local employersThis temporary day-shift position may suit someone looking to gain or build experience in a manufacturing environment.
