You will help ensure goods are delivered safely, efficiently and on time while representing the business professionally.Key responsibilities• Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly• Completing local and regional deliveries as scheduled• Loading, securing and unloading goods• Carrying out handball duties at delivery locations• Checking delivery paperwork and obtaining proof of delivery• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues• Following road safety, site safety and company procedures• Providing polite and professional customer serviceSkills and qualifications• Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence• Driver CPC and digital tachograph card• Previous commercial driving or delivery experience• Experience with handball and manual handling• Good knowledge of safe loading and unloading procedures• Reliable, punctual and organised• Professional manner and clear communication skills• Able to work independently and manage delivery schedulesBenefits• £16 per hour• Paid every Wednesday• Day shifts• Temporary position• Opportunity to be visible to local employersThis is a practical driving role suited to an experienced Class 2 driver who is comfortable with physical delivery work and handball duties.Apply today.
