Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging Level 5 Healthcare teaching, focusing on Health Play, paediatric healthcare, distraction techniques and therapeutic play interventions.

Assess learner work, provide developmental feedback, support achievement and maintain accurate learner and assessment records.

Develop teaching resources and contribute to curriculum planning, quality assurance, safeguarding and ongoing professional development.

Requirements:

Experience as a Health Play Specialist or within paediatric healthcare, with experience teaching adult, FE or HE learners.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised teaching qualification, plus a relevant Level 5+ healthcare qualification.

Registered member of the Society of Health Play Specialists, with GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above.
