Job Title: Pastoral Care and Designated Safeguarding Lead

Contract Type: Grade F, SCP 17 - Permanent, Start date ASAP (dependant on notice period required)
Actual Salary: £28,147 - £31,243 per annum
Show Rounds: Tuesday 22nd September 9.30am to 12 noon and 3.30pm to 5pm / Wednesday 23rd September 1pm to 3pm. Visits to the school are encouraged prior to application

The Role We are looking to appoint a Pastoral Care and Designated Safeguarding Lead to work within our enthusiastic, caring and committed team. The successful applicant will be responsible for the welfare and education of pupils in the age range 2 11 years, committing to the shared vision, ethos and aims of the school.
About You The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills (oral and written), be resilient and have good time management. They will have the ability to cope with pressure and be able to relate well to children. The post is busy and demanding and requires a highly motivated and organised individual who will need a pleasant and calm approach, be able to undertake a wide range of duties and be prepared to take on “anything” from the most basic to the most complex. The applicant should also be able to work as part of a team, and have a good sense of humour.
