Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic Breakfast Club Assistant to join the team. The successful candidate will work alongside the existing breakfast club staff to support the running of the breakfast club. Hours, 7:50-8:50 am Monday – Friday, term time onlyStart date as soon as possibleSalary – G01 SCP 3-4, Range £25,614 - £26,016 Full time Equivalent. 5 hours a week, term time only.The role will involve:• Basic preparation of food and beverages, eg preparing cereals, toast and fruit.• General kitchen duties, eg cleaning down the serving counter and washing up.• Supporting pupils while they eat breakfast, cutting up food for pupils and making sure tables are clean and that water is available• Ensure that all the equipment required for the session is set up before receiving pupils, such as putting the tables and activities out.• Walking children over to the local playgroup in the village hall • Ensuring the health and safety of children in your care at all times• Ensuring standards for healthy eating and table manners are maintained• Lead the children in the establishment of suitable games/activities, ensuring the inclusion of all pupils• Report accidents to the senior leader and complete an accident form if necessary• We would like you to be:• Patient and caring• Motivated, friendly and professional• Able to work collaboratively with staff and be a good team player• Supportive of the Christian ethos of the school• Some experience of working with children / catering desirable – all training will be providedWe can offer:• A happy, supportive small school environment• Children who enjoy being in school.• Staff with excellent knowledge and experienceThis post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS).
