Summary

Post 1 - 20 hours per week, working 8.30am to 12.30pm Monday to FridayActual salary - £12,327 per annum pro rata (46.64% FTE)Post 2 - 16.25 hours per week, working 12.15pm to 3.30pm Monday to FridayActual salary - £10,016 per annum pro rata (37.90% FTE)Term time plus 1 weekThe role of SEN Teaching Assistant is varied, and for these posts, you will be working with a sight impaired student to enable them to successfully access the curriculum, both in the classroom and outdoors. You must have a willingness to learn braille, be able to think independently and creatively to verbalise information and think about how you can demonstrate information - potentially using tactile resources. You must ensure the child’s health and safety and help them towards independent mobility in and around the classroom environment and our school site. You will be supported by the Vision Impaired team who will help you understand and meet the specific needs of this student.Woodland Grange is an exciting and innovative school that is committed to giving our children and families the best opportunities.
