Summary
Join us in transforming urgent and emergency care
We are seeking an exceptional, compassionate and ambitious nursing leader to join our Divisional Leadership Team as Deputy Divisional Chief Nurse with a dedicated Urgent and Emergency Care (UEC) portfolio.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced senior nurse who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care, leading high-performing teams and driving improvement across urgent and emergency pathways.
Working alongside the Divisional Chief Nurse, Divisional Medical Director and Divisional Operations Director, you will provide visible leadership across the division, with a particular focus on urgent and emergency care services, patient flow, quality, safety and workforce development.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring patients receive safe, effective and compassionate care, while leading transformational change to improve patient experience, operational performance and clinical outcomes.
As Deputy Divisional Chief Nurse, you will be a highly visible clinical leader, supporting the delivery of high-quality services across the Medicine Division whilst taking strategic leadership for urgent and emergency care nursing services.
Your portfolio will include oversight of nursing quality, patient safety, governance and workforce initiatives across urgent and emergency care pathways, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and system partners to improve patient flow and reduce delays in care.
You will deputise for the Divisional Chief Nurse as required and contribute to strategic and operational decision-making across the division.
Registrants from all clinical professions will be considered.
