Summary

Dementia UK’s Admiral Nurse Academy supports Admiral Nurses, health and social care professionals and corporate partners to raise awareness, develop evidence-based skills and knowledge and expertise in dementia care.

The team is growing and we are looking for a new Deputy Head of Admiral Nurse Academy to provide leadership across our external learning and education offer, helping us reach wider audiences and strengthen dementia knowledge and practice.

Working alongside the Head of Admiral Nurse Academy and existing Deputy Heads, you will lead a team to deliver our external-facing education, including the Dementia UK Learning Hub, Dementia at Work and our annual Summer School. You will take on line management responsibility within the growing team and have the opportunity to help shape high-quality learning and education that supports health and social care professionals, organisations and other external audiences. You will build strong relationships across Dementia UK and with external partners. You’ll ensure learning is evidence-based, sustainable and engaging, while contributing to the Academy’s strategy, operational management and continued growth.

This role will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
