What You'll Do
As a Freelance BSL Interpreter, you will:
β Interpret between English and British Sign Language (BSL)
β Support communication within police, court, legal, custodial, and justice-related settings
β Ensure accurate, confidential, and impartial interpretation
β Maintain professional standards and ethical practice at all times
β Manage your availability and assignments through our interpreting platform
β Help service users access essential legal and public services

Who Are We Looking For?
We're seeking professional BSL Interpreters who have:
β Fluency in English and British Sign Language (BSL)
β Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
β The right to work in the UK
β Registration with NRCPD, RBSLI, or an equivalent professional body
β Relevant BSL Interpreting Qualification (Level 6 or equivalent preferred)
Justice Sector Qualifications
Applicants should hold one or more of the following:
β DPSI Law (Full)
β Diploma in Community Interpreting β Police & Court Pathway
β DPI
β Met Police Test
