We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative/Van Driver to join our team at our Nottingham Branch. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a hardworking and friendly team, supporting the smooth running of day-to-day warehouse operations.

Key responsibilities

- Support general day-to-day warehouse operations

- Preparing customer orders for delivery

- Managing stock inventory and performing stock checks

- Ensure the loading and unloading of the vehicle to ensure it is conducted correctly and safely.

- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety guidelines

- Keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained, and free from preventable damage.

- Report any accidents or incidents immediately, following company procedures

- Play a key part of the team covering driver holidays and annual leave (HGC Class 2 licence required

Key skills

- Valid forklift licence (essential – counterbalance or reach)

- Valid commercial driving licence (C) with a clean driving record

- Ability to carry out manual handling duties

- Good understanding of Health and Safety regulations

- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player

- Previous warehouse experience is an advantage
