We are currently seeking a customer focused Trade Counter Assistant to join our busy Trade Counter based in Nottingham. As a Trade Counter Assistant, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Trade Counter, ensuring customer receive a first class service.

Key responsibilities

- Provide an excellent level of customer service to both new and existing customers

- Proactively engage with customers to identify and maximise sales opportunities

- Accurately process new orders and enquiries

- Confidently communicate product knowledge to support customer needs

- Assist with general warehouse duties, including picking and packing of goods

- Support the Sales Office by answering call, processing and amending orders

Key skills

- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, ideally within a trade or retail environment

- Strong organisation skills with the ability to muti task

- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment

- Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem solving

- Experience using ERP systems is advantageous but not essential – full training provide
