Are you a talented coordinator with a passion for events, sales and delivering outstanding customer experiences?
Sodexo Live! is looking for a
Sales & Events Coordinator to join our team at the iconic
American Express Stadium, home of Brighton & Hove Albion FC.
This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of one of the South Coast's leading conference and events venues. You'll play a key role in converting enquiries into confirmed business, supporting revenue growth and ensuring every event is planned accurately, professionally and seamlessly from initial enquiry through to operational handover.
Whether it's corporate conferences, awards dinners, exhibitions, networking events or private celebrations, you'll help create memorable experiences while supporting the delivery of a multi-million-pound events programme.
As Sales & Events Coordinator, you'll work closely with the Sales Manager, Business Development Manager and Event Operations team to ensure clients receive an exceptional experience throughout their event journey.
We're seeking an organised, customer-focused and commercially minded individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do:
- Managing and responding to conference and events enquiries.
- Qualifying opportunities and converting enquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Preparing tailored proposals, quotations and contracts.
- Following up with prospective clients to maximise conversion opportunities.
- Building and maintaining accurate event details within CRM and venue systems.
- Coordinating room layouts, catering requirements, AV, timings and special requests.
- Producing accurate event documentation and handover information for operational teams.
- Maintaining CRM records, booking information and sales reports.
- Supporting the Sales Manager with enquiry tracking and sales administration.
- Assisting the Business Development Manager with proactive sales opportunities and client follow-up.
What You Bring:
- Experience within conference and events sales, event coordination, hospitality or venue operations.
- Strong communication skills and confidence dealing with clients by phone, email and face-to-face.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple enquiries and deadlines.
- Experience preparing proposals, quotations, contracts or event documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of revenue targets.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- A proactive, positive and solution-focused approach.
- The ability to work collaboratively across sales, operations, catering and venue teams.
