Location: Deployed Across South and West Hubs

Salary: Band E Point 7 to 11 £27,264 to £29,071 per annum

Actual Salary: £23,433 - £24,977

Contract: 37 hours, Term Time + 2 Inset Days + 3 Additional Days

About the Role

We are seeking to appoint a highly organised and detail-oriented

Data Officer to oversee the day-to-day support in the

Data Shared Services team within Place Partnership. Working as part of our Data Shared Services function, the successful candidate will play an important operational role in maintaining the accuracy of pupil and curriculum data, supporting academies with routine data processes, and assisting with statutory returns and reporting activities. The successful candidate will be a part of the Shared Services Data Team and will, when required, travel amongst the Trust's sites.

The role requires excellent administrative and organisational skills, alongside confidence working with data and IT systems. Working collaboratively across the Trust and it's associated sites, the Data Officer will support a range of operational data services, including line managing the Data Assistant, managing the Trust’s ticketing system (Tier 1 and 2) and escalating complex tasks. Working closely with the Trust Data Lead and wider Data Shared Services Team, they will help maintain accurate and reliable information, escalating service desk requests where necessary and contributing to a high-quality service for academies.

The successful candidate will be proactive, conscientious and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy. They will be confident working with data, resolving routine issues, and building positive relationships with academy colleagues. With a strong focus on customer service, organisation and attention to detail, they will play a key role in supporting the effective operation of the Trust's data services.

About You

The successful candidate will be…

  • Experienced in data entry, administration or a similar role.

  • Competent in Microsoft Excel and confident working with data and digital systems.

  • Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • An effective communicator, able to build positive relationships with colleagues across academies and Shared Services teams.

  • Accurate and methodical in their approach to handling and validating data.

  • Calm and adaptable, with the ability to remain organised and effective during busy periods.

  • Professional, reliable and able to handle sensitive information confidentially.

  • Proactive and willing to learn new systems and processes.

  • A collaborative team player who enjoys supporting colleagues and contributing to shared objectives.
